O disco novo do Animal Colective, lançado esse ano, "Merriweather Post Pavilion", é tudo que se esperava e um pouco mais. Experimentalismo, riqueza de influências e texturas bem construidas são os pontos fortes desse disco (assim como nos discos passados da banda). Quem se impressionou com a obra prima de 2007, Strawberry Jam, não tem motivos pra se decepcionar com o disco novo, que está pelo menos quase tão bom quanto.
